The Inferiority Complex

It arises from a psychological state of self deprivation which further leads to a mindset. This mindset if not mended may lead to depression. A recent survey has shown that this complex is very common among the females. Although, even males have it, but they tend to shrug it off gradually, whereas in case of females they tend to stick to it unless they find themselves tangled up in a deep psychological mess.
My curiosity has always been the origin and the development of this complex. I've found that lack of information, knowledge and financial barriers are the major issues through which this complex breeds. Apart from it, the people with up-to-date knowledge, correct information, and people with high societal and financial  status can also be a victim of  I.C. due to factors like looks, and their own perception of people's thinking.
The latter is the case which haunts people of all classes and statuses. This is where the situation gets tricky. Just when a person starts thinking what reactions will my actions yield, your mind lands you up in a space called "Complex". It can be either a superiority or an inferiority complex. The I.C. takes over your brain when you start defending your actions even before you've played it. That's where your mind slopes you down to the I.C. Now once you're in a state of the inferiority complex, it is being like in a deep hole where you cannot easily climb up. It works just like Gravity. It's very easy to fall in... and very tough to overcome it.
There are only two ways you can really overcome the I.C.- one is the Hard way...and other is the Harder way. The Hard way suggests you face it. Let time do its job. Face your fears till you get used to it. It may have fatal effects, but it works... it takes time but it really works. Once you get used to it, your mind works as a force of nature to even up that hole you've fallen into. As time progresses, the hole shallows out. It immediately transfers it all to an entirely new space of "Experiences". And this helps you in the long run. Nevertheless, you may say, that you're never out of the pit... but you just get used to it. This works entirely opposite to the real world. This is your mind. It works as you want it to.
Now comes the Harder way. Believe it or not, the former way is easier than this. This is a way where you crawl back with everything you've got to get out of that pit as soon as possible. That's because you can't wait. You are impatient. This is where it gets harder for you. You put every ounce of your energy to focus on coming out of it. Stop living by the results of other people's opinion. You take nothing from the world. You make your own way. You force your mind or rather your mind makes you believe that anything you sense is not going to effect you in any ways whatsoever.  Your mind starts denying the offerings made by the world to you. That's where you go against the world in your own mind and against your mind outside (in the world).
You start denying something which your mind has observed to be true. But you forget that its your mind afterall, and it believes what you want it to believe. Make your mind your slave, Stop being the slave of your mind. That's where you're freed from all types of Complexes.

You'll only get over it when you start thinking that you're beautiful in a way you know yourself to be.. And you don't need a certificate from anyone for it. It's only then you'll be able to keep it aside and realize that this ain't important one bit. You got many other useful things to do than to ponder upon it. A smart and a successful person who is overflowed by achievements always seem beautiful to every eye in the world. Remember that.

Incepted!! Was the whole movie a dream?? :: Reality is a 'relative' concept..

Inceptionized!!
That's the only thing I can say after watching the movie yesterday night... Whohaa!! One hell of a movie. Yeah! You'e right... I am late on it. But it was all worth it.
Questions, Questions, Questions, and many more Questions!! Well I am one of those few ones who think they have understood the whole concept of the movie by just watch it once.. But, still I think there will be more things that will pop up in my head each time I watch it.
Let's come to the interesting part!! The questions that will be arising in your mind after seeing the movie would be as follows:

1. Who was in who's dreams?
2. The concept of Limbo.
3. The ending of the movie.

Well, believe me or not.. these are the easiest questions that can be answered by watching the movie carefully.
About the first question, I would say that a dream, within a dream, within a dream, within a dream i.e. 4 levels of dreams are enough to get you thinking on it. When the main plot starts, they start their work in the plain itself. "Yusuf", the chemist dreams the first dream. When they were attacked by the militants of the subconscious that have been developed over the period of time, they were in a van that was been driven by Yusuf. That was the time when they enter into the next level of the dream, that was dreamed by "Arthur". In the first level of the dream, Saito was shot, but wasn't dead (just in pain) which gradually made him weaker in the dreams that followed. Saito wasn't shot dead in the dream 1 to wake him up to reality as it wouldn't have woken him up from the strong sedatives that were given to him, instead, it would have thrown him into a limbo for an indefinite period of time. We'll discuss the limbo in the coming questions. One interesting point to note here, was that 5 minutes in a real world was equal to an hour in the dream. The mind begins to function so fast in dreams that it spends a lot more time in dream than in reality in a specified period. That also goes for the next levels of dreams that were followed. So the ratio remains the same! So, the level 2 of the dream was being dreamed by Arthur, in a hotel, who was already injured in dream 1. The next level of Dream was dreamed by "Eames" the forger in a smow fortress. That should have been the end, but it wasn't supposed to be. As Robert Fischer Jr. was shot by Mal just before he could have opened the safe, he wasn't woken up, he just went into a limbo. The levels of dreams and the sedatives were too much to wake him up. So the 4th level of dream was achieved to bring back Fischer from the state of limbo by giving him a "kick". The 4th level was a shared state. It was being dreamed by Cobb, Ariadne, and Fischer together. Saito also joined the limbo state once he died in the dream 1. Another interesting point was each person who was dreaming a dream did not enter the next level to give a "Kick" to the dreamers in their respective levels. Yusuf, who dreamed the first dream did not go to the level 2 to give the required kick at a specified time. He kept driving the van in level 1 and kept fighting the subconscious militants. Arthur didn't go to level 3 and remained in the hotel in the level 2. Similarly, Eames didn't go to the limbo alongwith Cobb and Ariadne. That Explains the boundaries of the dreams. One more fact was that Cobb never hosted the dreams as Mal wouldn't allow his dreams to be a success as she was always there in his mind.
Simple!! Isn't it? :))

Now the next question: What exactly is a Limbo? Limbo is actually unconstructed dream space – a place of raw (and random) subconscious impulse. Ariadne drops a line early on about the fact that the extractor team can bring elements of their own subconscious into the dream levels if they’re not careful, and since Cobb has spent time in Limbo and has a raging subconscious, the Limbo space they enter includes his memory of the city he and Mal built for themselves.. By the time you reach the Limbo state it can be so difficult to wake, and the dream can feel so vividly real, that the mind stops trying to wake at all – the mind accepts the dream as its reality, like slipping into a coma.

When you wake up in Limbo you don’t remember that there is such a thing as a “real world” – as in any dream, you wake up in the middle of a scene and simply accept it for what it is. Breaking yourself out of this cycle is extremely difficult, which is why Cobb and his wife Mal were trapped in Limbo for what seemed like decades.

Time is the other factor. The deeper you go into a dream state, the faster your mind is able to imagine and perceive things within that dream state. We’re told the increase is exponential, so going deeper into dreams turns minutes into hours, into days, into years. This is why Cobb and his team are able to pull off the Fischer job while the van is still falling through the air, before the soldiers break into the snow fortress, before Arthur rigs the elevator, and all within the span of a flight from Sydney Australia to LA.

In Limbo, the mind works so fast that actual minutes can be interpreted as years gone by. When Saito “dies” from the gunshot wound he received on level 1 of the dream, his mind falls into Limbo, and Saito remains there for the minutes it takes Cobb and Ariadne to follow him into Limbo – those minutes in one dream state feel like decades to Saito in his Limbo state. By the time Cobb deals with expelling Mal’s “shadow” from his subconscious, Saito has begun to perceive himself as an old man.

Mal’s shadow stabs Cobb during the film’s climax, which throws Cobb back out into Limbo and onto the shores of Saito’s limbo house. When Cobb has to “wake” again in Limbo, his mind is muddled just like old man Saito’s brain. Through Saito’s memory of Cobb’s totem and some shared dialogue that included key trigger phrases – “Leap of faith,” “Old man full of regret, waiting to die alone,” etc. – Cobb and Saito are able to remember the meaningful conversations they had and that there is a reality they existed in before Limbo, where both of them had deep desires still waiting to be fulfilled (Cobb and his kids, Saito and his business). Once they remember that limbo is limbo, they are able to wake themselves up (likely with a gunshot to the head).

Now comes the most exciting part of the story- The Ending! Lets us talk about it. The ending of Inception is meant to leave you thinking and questioning the nature of reality. The important question is not “Is Cobb still dreaming?” – What is important is the fact that the character of Cobb goes from being a guy who is obsessed with “knowing what’s real” to ultimately being a person who stops questioning and accepts what makes him truly happy as what’s real.

In the movie, Cobb and Saito (seem to) wake up from limbo, Nolan very purposefully shifts the film into an ambiguous state that leaves it somewhat open to the viewer’s perception and interpretation of that perception – two big themes of the movie, coincidentally enough.

Throughout the film, Cobb continues to obsess about spinning the top and verifying reality – however, at the end of movie, he spins the top and walks away from it before he can verify if it stops spinning or not. His kids come running in and Cobb could care less about about the top or “true reality” or extraction/inception anymore. He just wants to be with his children, in whatever place he can be with them. That emotional connection and desire is “reality” enough for him.

That is what the movie shows you. Now comes the part what you make out of it. Here is what I made out of it:
The whole concept of the story was to create an abstract image for the audience. Have you ever given a thought what if Mal was right? What if Mal knew that Cobb didn't realize he was in a dream? The Ending of the story might justify it, The Totem was never seen falling, so if that was a Limbo where Cobb is still trapped, Mal could well have been right. The whole movie could just have been a dream! If that is the case that means the whole movie is a dream where cobb tries to go deep inside his dreams to come to reality[which is impossible phenomenon]..finally the reality like scene which shows their successful inception is just a misinterpretation[a creative imagination in limbo] of cobb himself dat he has come out of his dream..so hes sure that hes in reality and hence not wishes to see the tottem,,Finally abt the tottem spinning or not.. ill post it in my next comment..KEY:the movie is completely cobb’s unshared imaginative dream[going downwards] after mal’s death[gone backward level]

So we can add 2 more things here. If Cobb didn't wake up and still is in a state of Limbo, there is another obvious sequel coming our way. Or, If Mal was right, then the whole movie was just a dream. They are just interpretations as we can never be sure. Just Like the "Shutter Island", we are free to conclude whatever we want.

In the end, Cobb walking away from the top is a statement in itself that also completes the arc of his character. In a way, the movie is its own maze designed to plant a simple little idea in the viewer’s mind: “reality” is a relative concept.

Hats-off to you Nolan, you have made us talking, thinking and blogging about it.

Unfinished!

Unfinished!
'Gowdy' to his credit never gave up on his dream.. But that's not usually how it goes.
And usually it isn't a speeding bus that keeps the brown pointy weird church from getting built.. Most of the time it's just too difficult, or Expensive, or Scary....
It's only once you've stopped that you realize how hard it is to start again... So you force yourself not to want it. But it's always there... and until you finish it, it will always....... Be there..

Threshold of Tolerance

Isn't it good to learn something new every day?
I wake up every morning with a blank mind so that I may be able to scribble anything over it to learn something each day... and trust me, may day starts with a smile each day. (Touch-wood!)
I learned something new today. The psychology of a person plays such a vital role in conditioning their surroundings! It's so amazing that people who might have so much in common may see the same story in a different perspective altogether.
The more you look at it that way, the more you tend to believe, that there is nothing "WRONG" or "RIGHT" in this world... it's just a matter of how you perceive things. Each person is right in his/her own way whereas it can never be the same for others. The most important inference we get from it is that no person is ever bad or evil. Every one has some values which one follows. Its a matter of time which value gets the better of other in the same frame. What may seem like unethical to someone might be necessity for some other on that moment. No person can ever be wrong! There is a conscience within each of us and its very hard for a person to go against it.
So if you ever think that somebody is an idiot, fool, stupid or a simpleton for that matter... think again! There are bound to be some circumstances for each step someone takes. If that step doesn't appeal to you that simply means that you are not in the same condition as the other is or you are just groomed and conditioned in a different manner with different necessities.
EMOTIONS..... These are the strongest and the weakest virtues a human can ever possess. Interesting! Emotions compel a human to take any big or small step whatsoever, and you know that pretty well... don't you? ANGER is one such emotion. Personally, I love it!! Anger can make me do the most weirdest of things and things which I would have only gazed upon in awe...
Some interesting theories on the "Threshold of tolerance" inspired me so much, I couldn't resist to share. Every person has a limited threshold of tolerance... which depends on person to person. The way our necessities shape up to be are a result of our grooming, conditioning, perception and many other things which a second person won't ever be able to understand fully. So it's not possible to ask somebody to step in somebody else's shoes and see things from their perspective.
Every person is different from other and every person is good enough to be good in their ways. The threshold of tolerance plays a vital role in assuming, presuming, or making a perception about different individuals. A joke might be tolerated from "A" to you whereas you might not tolerate the same joke from an equally known "B". A wife may not speak up for domestic violence for 25 years of marriage but she might get up some day all guns blazing for an issue that shouldn't have provoked her any other day. There are "n" number of reasons for a thing and "n" number of solutions for the same. So anger is something which does not erupt all of a sudden... it is the process of formation of certain layers of resentment over a period of time inside the volcano... And a Volcano cannot remain Dormant forever. Someday or the other it has to erupt. And the frequency of its eruption depends on how high or how low is the Threshold of Tolerance... which again depends on "n" number of factors such as grooming, shaping, necessities, background etc. Complicated!!!

Your Universe revolves around "3"

As some old memories make their way through to my visions behind the autumn leaves, a dust covered memory glows with the radiance of its exuberance. Often we are awestruck at how this life teaches us the most complicated lessons with the most simple methods.
We experience so many things in our life that when we close the chapter, we find nothing so impressive or amazing.... than the mystery called as "Life". Life is over-rated! But whatever we see, feel, sense or acquire is, in this Life itself. Nothing goes beyond this life- No highs, no lows. Everything forms a part of it... yet we do not observe that we are just the pawns in this game, and life is silently making us move in the directions it wants us to. We talk of God, we talk of Nature but seldom do we think about that we are just sent on this earth to make the moves Life wants us to...in its own way. The mold is ready... we just have to make space for ourselves in it. And the way we make that space is called Experience....and that mold is called Life.
Random thoughts hit us a million times within a fraction of a second. I caught up one such random thought...as tiny as a sand particle...and began analyzing it.. and what I found was the structural pattern of one of the atoms of life.
Here it goes:
This incident is abridged from the life pages of one of my friends. The names of the characters in this incident have been changed. It starts when my friend Abhay fell for a girl Ankita who was also one of his friends. Ankita was a simple girl who didn't like many complications in her life but it so happened that her life always tested her. She probably never gave a deep thought to what Love is, and someday her prince charming will come and ride her away on his horse. But as I dared to speak about it, Rishab enters her life. He was  rich and from a well to do family. His academic records were also good. In short, he had all the luxuries of life and his career was all set. One fine day, when Cupid was in a mood for some mischief, Rishab proposed Ankita. Ankita, who probably never thought that this day will come, was amazed at this. She probably began thinking of way too many things. Their Surnames were similar; Rishab was a good guy; a good family background and a prosperous life. What more can a girl ask for? It was then that the molds seemed favourable to her. But a pawn doesn't know what is the grandmaster thinking about him. A week later, Rishab went away with the wind telling her that it was just a joke for him. A joke for someone- A dream of a lifetime for the other: What an irony.
On the other side of the story, Abhay was hurt. He decided that if Ankita's happiness is with Rishab, he may let go Ankita and never tell her what she meant to him. When he came to know about what had happened, he felt sorry for Ankita rather than being happy for himself. Ankita kept on waiting for Rishab till her tears dried up. Abhay decided to make her life as beautiful as it was before. He told her how he felt about her.... months passed by and they kept in touch...But Ankita never answered Abhay about his feelings. She just said I cannot love anymore. Its so strange that our first love doesn't succeed coz we lack certain things, but when we get to know about them, we don't love anymore!!
Still Abhay kept trying and trying...to keep her happy. He never raised any such topics in their conversations where Ankita would feel uncomfortable. Years passed by, but Ankita still didn't answer. It was during these days, a person named Kapil enetered into Ankita's life. Kapil fell for Ankita, and he had all those qualities which Ankita observed in Rishabh. That was the reason why Ankita ignored Kapil initially, but not for long.... And as time passed by, Gradually but slowly, Abhay became just an image in Ankita's life. And slowly but gradually the memory is lost; the last thing that can be visualized was Abhay was nowhere to be found, and Ankita started felling for Kapil. This is the end of the memory. It may be incomplete...It might not be what we are accustomed to have in romantic love stories...But its Life. Nobody knows where Abhay is what he would be thinking right now. No clue as to what happened to the Ankita-Kapil frame... But this memory just made me realize one thing...One small thing, yet a big experience of life.
Our universe revolves round "3" elements of life: Ankita, Rishab and Kapil. At some point or the other, we fall for Ankita, a Rishab enters her life and it gradually ends with Kapil. Its not necessary that Ankita should be a girl and Rishab a boy. These are just characters played by the elements of life. At certain points of life we are Abhay, and we really don't know how to erase Ankita's past and mold her a new life. We don't realize that we don't mold the life...The Life molds us; the only thing in our hands is how we manage to fit in that mold... On the whole, the mold remains the same.
It tells a very simple lesson to all of us: Accept whatever is coming and regret less. Whatever happens, happens for a reason that is beyond our imagination and control. If n ands, puts and buts, do not constitute a part of our universe. What matters is that we were in the molten form and we just solidify later. Experiences only make us stronger. We think too much about "Only if..." never trying to understand that whatever happened was already planned to happen. Why do we regret so much?
There are no Excuses in Life and no blame, Every morning is a fresh challenge... Either you learn to pick the gauntlet up and fight or learn to surrender to it... So long as there is life..there is struggle!!

Take care..
T.P.S.

"Feeling" the "Free Will"

Just finished watching "City of Angels". What amazes me about the movie is the beauty of its simplicity. We never think about the gifts provided to us rather we choose to sulk over the things we do not possess. One such amazing feeling which waved my mind was the gift of "Feel" that we humans possess. We can touch, we can see, we can observe, we can laugh, we can cry, we can "Feel". We don't notice that it's such a blessing to be born with a tongue and in the most stable form ever known in the universe. The beauty of this "Feel" is very under-rated; and it's true had it not been for the movie, I would have never written it.
Its so beautiful feeling the pinch of the cold air, feeling the water gushing all around us in the ocean, feeling of the taste, feeling the rain pouring down on us, feeling the heat of the sun, feeling the blood running in our veins, feeling the smaller things in life we never tend to notice, feeling those things which are hard to notice, feeling a hand which touches our face, feeling that warmth which is never spoken but just felt, feeling the love which makes our heart pump faster, feeling that someone is always there for you no matter what, feeling that someone really cares when you think you cannot be understood, feeling that someone is always around...watching you!!
God didn't give us all the things we would have liked to have, but he didn't deprive us of the "Free Will". That is one thing which will always be with each and every one of us. This is the greatest gift He could have given us. Whether we believe in Him or not, we love Him or not...but still he gives us that "Free will".. and that free will allows us to believe, love, or hate him.. And all He does is to accept it all....whatever you give with a smile. This is a precious gifts my friends. This can help us attain whatever we want in our lives. What else can we ask for? We are capable of fulfilling our desires. All we need....is already with us!!
These two gifts are the best we can hope for... the rest are all ILLUSIVE..
I am FEELING real good :)

YOU don't look back in Life...Life looks back at YOU!!

If you're disheartened...feeling weak, lost your everything in life.... thinking of giving up? Then this is exactly the right place for you to be. You're reading it. But you're feeling you might feel better and motivated after reading it! Then the answer is NO!!
You're thinking to give up? Why did you held on for so long? I would have suggested you to give it up right then! You know why you held on? Coz You were not ready to lose! That spirit shouldn't fade away....actually it never does...our belief does. Strength of holding up doesn't come from your muscles...it comes from your heart!! Its true and proven scientifically!!
There might have been books that you may have read to motivate yourself...but that fizzes out soon after you end with the book. The enthusiasm in you after reading this will also fizz out when you end with this post. I'm not here to motivate you! I'm here to tell you!
I don't write here to make my traffic. I write here coz it may be needed by someone!
Reading books and lectures don't motivate you; and neither does reading blogs! Its YOU!! And finally YOU!! that motivates yourself!
If you think to Win! You Will....If you think you've had enough!! You really have...If you think you can...you can!! If you think you cannot?? You're right!! It all comes back to YOU in the end! Why will somebody else tell you what you ought to do? Why Will somebody else's words influence you to do the things YOU haven't done? Well, if YOU do it later....just think...It's ultimately YOU!! You could have done it earlier.
If its not in your hand, you wait for some time and then if YOU think you won't be able to get a desired result you move on!! Why did you wait then? To ultimately move on? If only YOU had thought You won't move unless YOU have it YOUR way.....the story would have been different! I am not preaching! I am telling What "I" did!!!
It was "MY" way and "MY" life...I'll have results "MY" own way!! So why the hell should I give up? This might well be MY last chance....I'll do it MY way. That's what I did...that's what I got!!
You got to believe in yourself. It might be anything. You got to believe YOUR way will do it for YOU! Giving up are the habits started by the weaker people who are in majority today!! That's not the only way! YOU have to keep faith in YOUR GUT FEELING! If YOU think staring at the Rock will make it weep, It Will! Just Keep staring...I Bet!
Its just YOU! Don't let any others decision influence YOU, YOUR LIFE!! Not even the words of this blog if you think so!

"Being PRACTICAL" is the most misused word in the world today! No such thing Exists! What do you actually mean by Practicality? The Things which you do are- PRACTICAL. Someone says, you cannot jump off your terrace...Be Practical!! Show him what practicality is! That will be a very wierd thing though, but it certainly proves PRACTICALITY! Other says, you cannot do it...BE PRACTICAL!! Just shut his mouth. Nothing is practical!! Its just what YOU do!!
YOU want it!! Then Go....Get it!! The doors of practicality opens when you've already done that thing!! All the way in YOUR life..Its Just YOU!! Why will you follow somebody else? That's the reason why YOU were not born attached to someone else!! You look different from all others!! Why? Coz YOU are YOU!! And nobody can be YOU!! So better don't let anybody tell YOU...what are YOU...who are YOU...what should YOU do...and how should YOU do!!!
YOU don't look back in life...Life looks back at YOU!!!

"Thanx for the Adventure...now go and find a new one"

Its more than 4 o'clock in the morning and waking up writing this blog on one of the most touching movies I ever saw. The movie is called "UP". Its an animated Pixar production movie. Don't have words to describe this one!! Even though, being animated, it is capable enough to roll down your tears like fresh water droplets on a lily.
The movie is special in just more than one way. It starts with the dreams of a boy and a girl who wish to explore the world. Their dream is to reside in a house over the mountains in South America, beside the "Paradise Falls, a land lost in time". However, they do not know how to reach there. But the boy promises that he will take the girl to that place. The movie proceeds in no time showing those two kids grow up, getting married, living a happy life, and trying to collect some money for their dream adventure (which actually never turns up the way they thought).....and finally one day the she dies giving her old husband her book which she calls as her "Adventure book". She collected her dreams inside that book which never came true in her lifetime. Yet they lived a happy life as a couple.
Frustrated by the circumstances later in his life, the protagonist of the story decides to fly his house through balloons to that place. During the journey, he met a speaking Dog, a beautiful Bird, and a Kid who are instrumental in taking the story forward. After many obstacles, his determination yielded results and he finally was successful in landing the house to the desired place. At this emotional moment, he took out the Adventure book which her wife gave her. There was a section in that book,"Stuffs that I'm gonna do". He turned the pages and found the memories of her happy moments with her wife. He was in pain as the dream which finally came true, was at the time when "THE PERSON" of that vision was no more in the world. There was no one to cherish that moment. All her life she desired to be there, and when its finally there, it doesn't even matter. But she was amazed to see that the Section,"Stuffs that I'm gonna do" was filled with the memories of the moments they spent together...with each other!! And, at the End there was a message, "Thanx for the Adventure, Now go and find a new one." The story stills continues beyond this. But to me, this was the most touching part in the whole movie.
People spend their lives chasing their ultimate goals and wildest fantasies, but what they never realize is that they are missing on the best adventure called life. Life isn't about reaching the destination, its about the journey of reaching it! The sense of achievement will soon be over, but we never forget the memories we had during that. This movie is a perfect example. I couldn't help getting emotional. Try to bite your inner cheeks while watching it!

The Most Beautiful Lady in this World

"The Best part of beauty is that no picture can express."
"The most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even touched...they can just be felt"
"Beauty is not caused. It is"

For the last 5 hours, I have been trying to find the quote that perfectly describes the wonder and the appreciation for the most beautiful thing you ever saw. But I gave up. Soon I realised I must not start this post up with a quote. And accidentally I uttered a reason for it:

"I have Realised that finding a quote for the most beautiful thing in this world, is actually hampering its beauty..."

These were the perfect lines which described it for this post, and it happened that I said it when I was disappointed at not having found out such a line which describes it perfectly...but you see, beauty never goes in vain...it gave me something to begin with. Cheers.

The past two days have been one of the most significant days in my life up til now. Yesterday, I did a li'l too much than my normal routine.
It so happened, that I had to go and meet someone as a part of my day's plan. I got ready for it and was all set to meet the person. But this day was destined to be knocking at my head for some reason, which I knew not of.
After a couple of venue changes, I finally reached a mutually decided venue; but probably I wasn't ready for what was yet to come.
The Almighty always makes His presence felt in some way or the other. This time it was a lady through which he made me realize what a beautiful world it is. I don't say You'll find no other lady as good looking as her, but its hard to find a lady so perfect as herself... You're beautiful...oh its true.

I heard that voice before, and I did feel a sense of appreciated beauty in it. But after seeing it, I can say, there was nothing in this world which can be termed as nearest to perfection, if not her.

"Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder." I heard it before, but I confronted it the first time. It was a complete blend of politeness, maturity, personality, rationality, ethical, virtue, goodness, morality, humility, and beauty. Never before I came across such a creation which was so near to perfection.
My words aren't strong enough to describe what it was like. Her voice was so pleasing like sugar melted into ears. But till now, where you still haven't received the complete picture of the story, I'd like to continue, where I left, just to make you understand...why she was "The Most Beautiful Lady in this world!!!"

All these qualities in a woman only describes that she is beautiful. So what?!? We've seen enough beautiful ladies to be impressed at something. So the it didn't make me respect it. But the point where I was wonder-struck was this:

When you see an image kept too long under the direct forces of nature...it fades away with time. But when you see it as fresh as ever and still maintaining its most prized virtue, its good heart, you are left speechless!!
Under the constant adversities of the world, under the pressures of unbearable loads on weak shoulders and in conditions where not many of us would have survived....she not only resisted but also kept her most valuable assets with herself- her good heart, her politeness and her evergreen smile with her.
A good face reader will tell you what I'm talking about...her eyes told me that there is always more to it than all that meet the eye. A smile can be contagious and can deceive anybody, but you need to look beyond that. I, however, was aware even before meeting her that somethings in life are harsh and not right. But after seeing her, my respect for her knew no limits..
Such a prized beauty....and yet so down to earth, so humble and the best part is that she is always positive that everything gonna be alright.
I pray to the Almighty, that when He creates something magnificent, he should be there to take care of it. I wouldn't hesitate in saying that she was one of the most good natured beings I ever met. The fact is that I actually met her, because of her nature.

I would not search the web for a picture to describe The most Beautiful Lady in this world. I just witnessed her. And the Perfect Blend of nature, goodness, humility and beauty makes THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LADY in this world. :) God Bless!!

"The Most Beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even touched...they can just be felt."

The World Beyond this World

It was the sixth time I watched "The Pirates of the carrebean at world's End" yesterday. And each time I watch t I get fascinated about the Idea of a different world. The story, so beautifully, explains the existence "The lockers of Davy Jones" that even an uninterested person thinks for a moment of the world beyond this world. No one has yet measured the depth of the oceans!! What if the way to the next world goes through the same ocean beds? Where the sunset in that world is followed by the sunrise here in our world? It is so hard to wonder at the innovation of the creator.
Can there be a place like the lockers of Davy Jones- where a flash of green signifies the arrival of someone from the other world to our world?
Often I wonder, the natives of the other world assumes us to be ghosts as we assume them to be?
Its worth thinking about!!! ;)

Should we change our national game from Hockey to cricket?

Recently we had a Group discussion on this topic. Everybody in there was supporting the point that cricket should replace Hockey as the national game of India. Somehow I wasn't comfortable with that. Maybe it was the Indian within me which supported hockey, I can't say about that. But what hurt me the most was that the one or the two supporting Hockey weren't able to defend their points. We needed a saviour for for hockey at the GD..but none was good enough to be the "ONE".
There were some good points supporting cricket. Its no more a game in India. Its become a religion. It is "D" only game which integrates the whole nation at one stand which is the most difficult task to do in todays world. In a country where the bloody politicians are busy widening the rifts between the people to fill their vote banks; where terrorists are targetting a paticular religion and the blame for such incidents are forced on other the part of other religions; where differences are created in the name of region and language; where the surrounding countries always threaten to tresspass the borders and step in our country to make things worse, CRICKET is the only medium to get this nation going. Do you remember the celebrations after we won the T-20 world cup? It is unforgetable.
But there is a loop in the above mentioned positives. Cricket has always been kept away from major politics. The BCCI has always supported and advertised cricket. This has reched a place where it can not be pulled down so easily. It has been welcomed by all. But all these acheivements in the game of cricket are coming only when it has reached the peak of its popularity. Hockey has been F****ed up by the bloody politics. It is getting no sponsorships. When our hockey team wins a cup, our hockey players get Rs. 500 per head from the governments whereas the cricketers turn millionaires within one night. Is it a fair call? We recognize the cricketers in the crowd but we don't recognize the hockey players even in silent streets. Why are we witnessing such a day?
Cricket is played by a handful nations in the world. The only games in this world today are Soccer and Hockey. Its perfectly allright that Cricket is bringing laurels to this nation, but when?? Its today. Still the Indian cricket team is searching for its second world cup in the one day format. Whereas, Hockey team has 8 Olympic golds to its name in the past which includes the biggest winning margin of 38-2 in the Olympics. Its because of Indian hockey that Elizabeth didn't allow the British to play Hockey to lose to such a nation which was held captive by them.
Indian Hockey has seen players like Major Dhyan Chand, who was forced to change his hockey sticks during a match several times as they thought there might be a Magnet attached to it!!!!!!
This was Hockey and its glorious history my friends, and they think of replacing it with Cricket as our national game? What if tomorrow cricket loses its charm and we think replacing the national game again? If the Indian Tiger is on the verge of extinction today, so instead of helping it, we change our national animal??
Hockey was born in India. Have some respect to it fellowmen!! We don't stop to love our mother if she becomes ugly with age. Cricket was brought to India by the British. We give so much respect to a guest who has become a permanent member of our family and we ridicule our own who need help? Don't forget that Hockey brought laurrels to the nation when India was struggling for almost everything. It was the one which brought the nation together in the form of the only entertainment we had then!! It was a game which united us to fight for our independence!!

The winning of the Olympic Gold was the Cry of a Nation which was struggling to get its feet on the grounds. Ask yourself, can we Change our Identity for the sake of popularity?

ONE HALF MEASURE

Everybody must be aware of what one half measure is capable of.....But the problem arises to understand it. Exactly........One Half Measure...This will tell you what it means..

Not many days ago....an NSG commando was in operartion at the Hotel Taj in Mumbai 26/11/08. A black day in the history of Indian Calender. That soldier was fighting to save other's life. He probably thought of their families, their loved ones....just like most of us have. Even he was no exception. He had two small daughters, a wife, old parents; and he was the only one on whom the family depended on their daily bread. Anyways he never lived a very luxurious life..just enough to satisfy their basic needs. coming back again....

The operartion was almost completed. Each individual room was being checked for any person still in the hotel, who could be ensured safety. There was a feeling of pride in him. For the civilians were hailing the commandoes for what they had acheived. They were our real heroes afterall!! Being an INDIAN is a pride for any soldier and when they had just acheived something major......the pride within modifies to something enormous...it can't be explained.

He was the one checking each room, with all sorts of things ruminating in his mind..his children, their happiness on seeing him back again, the bravery certificates, the nation's pride and what not.. There were little rooms to be checked by then. With a sense of relief and a sigh which smelled of acheivements, he opened the door no. 640......and he stepped in...................................................................................................................................

Not much time had passed before this, another important event was about to be held in INDIA........the land of cricket.....The ICC champions trophy...Every team was well prepared and with a new enthusiasm stepped into the tournament; for then there were no shadows of guildstone on anyone then...

The tournament of teams was still in process when a paticular Indian player was a stand-out already in the series. As every Indian wants, our country was doing well....they were one of the strong contenders of the game. And one man was in supreme touch. He was in a form that turned many games on its head.. By far, the most dominant batsman in the series. When somebody is in that kind of touch, he is bound to get calls from the middle east. There was an offer made, an offer irresistable to anyone. Such huge amount of money is rarely seen even by a cricketer in his lifetime; but at the cost of his wicket? at the cost of his country??? The answer was yet to be found...The final frontier was ready for the last game....the main event...The FINAL.

It were the final moments of the match in a crunch situation. "The Batsman" was still in the crease and so was the crowd on its feet. One small mistake could have proved hazardous. What was going in his mind? But since, he was still in his crease.........

Okay, he looked a bit confused in the middle, a bit worried as if he had a decision to make. Well, he would have made it by now. Nobody knew anything except that he was in fine form. Maybe, the crunch situation of the match was showing on his face. But he had been in such situations before. He had the qualities of a leader in him..He was D-best.

With the crowd going restless with each dot ball, the tension was beginning to show on everybody's face. Amidst all that, he stepped out to one delivery and scopped it in air...............................................................................................................

Names, are the gifts of humans to humans....so there is no need of naming a human by a human to the humans....let their names be beneath the cover. The news of a day consisted of two events on two different pages..

One said, a brave martyr's wife who died while fighting against the terrorists...is begging the government for some financial help for her and her childrens' survival; while the Indian as well as the state government are playing the blame games against each shrugging their duties off..

The other said, the most talented cricketer in the Indian team was awarded by the sate government a cheque of Rs. 50 lakhs on becoming the no. 1 batsmen in the ICC rankings by the performance in the Chamions trophy. Although India lost the title, but the player did well to keep up the Indian flag by helping India reach the finals of the tournament. The state government also promised a prize money of Rs. 10 lakhs to the player. Being the Icc player of the tournament and the ICC's best batsmen in the game for about almost an year, the player had already been awarded US $ 500000. The player is happy with his performance and says that he will continue the good work in days to come..........

Both were Indians, their professionalism brught them closer to country's name. But yet, so different a story. If a child is reading this....what will you like to become when you grow up? This is what One Half Measure is all about.

Five PoinT "SOME-BUDDIES"

Hii BuDDies,

Iam rejuvenated and all set for my chapter no. 2 in this space...Last night I finished with CHETAN BHAGAT'S bestseller...."five point someone".And I must admit, he is a phenomenal writer...The book doesn't even allow you to wipe your sweat in the climax...Few writter's have this quality..By the way...I m not here to post a review of the book, but to share something about these Five point somebodies.....The feeling i get when i try to analyse it all, is something beyond practicality but when the feeling is so pure, practicality doesn't work anymore.....

A heart like that of Prof Cherian can melt; life can get you away to somewhere even in the middle of nowhere;a life so precious can be given away just coz of a failure; a beautiful heart can win all odds; heart can be your power when mind denies it....There are a lot of things to be learned even from these five pointers... "The Greatest brains of te country are found at the last benches of the college premises"..saying by our honourable Ex-President Mr. A.P.J. Abdul KaLam..

Genius can even go jobless whereas a fatso may get the better of you...Temptations can't easily be resisted..if they would have had, they wouldn't have been named so. The Most Brilliant students of INDIA maybe of the world lead a pathetic mugging life in a period which they dream to be the best phase of their life??? horrible...isn't it? The ups and downs of the college life is a part of us...probably we would be laughing on the moments over which we cried then....and the moments we sat together and smiled, will bring tears in our eyes when we'd think of it in the future...

Many of us are of the opinion that students of weak academis backgrounds are better to be stayed away from....but its a matter of shear chance when these brilliant brains find out their standings in present and compare it to of those so called "WEAK"..ones

If I try to be honest with myself, I stand among these mediocres...But i always felt, there are no weaks and no strongs in any field...its just that academic part is given more attention..Its just the iterests which makes toppers and the floppers...Is it necessary that we have to rescrict our thinking just to the academic aspects? Probably this is the safest way of a secure career..But this way doesn't lead to the making of yet another Sachin Tendulkar,John Mayer, Mother Teresa, and TigerWoods.

The bondage of love is the greatest emotion one can feel in this love...Just Love is a permanent factor in this materialistic world...may sound like i'm just repeating good words..but when you find that its true.....u can do no more than to make others understand the same thing...have you ever thout that once you reach the peak...there is nowhere to go other than just waiting for your turn to fall??? But failures in life get you those chances and keep your hope of climbing to the top alive...like it or not...but a winner is the one who makes it possible leaving aside all odds....The greatness of a winner is judged by the resilliance of the champ...Bogged down by the circumstances, to stand up again and run: tumbling over a stone, falling down, getting up n runing again; struggling against the storm to make it.....That Is a ChamPion ....A true champ....and none other to describe my words...stand...Mr. AbRaHam LinColn.
