Better than Me

I think you can do much better than me
After all the lies that I made you believe
And guilt kicks in and I start to see
The edge of the bed where your nightgown used to be

I told myself I won't miss you
But I remembered what it feels like beside you

I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me

While looking through your old box of notes
I found those pictures I took that you were lookin' for
If there's one memory I don't want to lose
That time at the mall, you and me in the dressing room

I told myself I won't miss you
But I remembered what it feels like beside you

I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me

The bed I'm lying in is getting colder
Wish I never would've said it's over
And I can't pretend

I won't think about you when I'm older
'Cause we never really had our closure
This can't be the end

I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me

I really miss your hair in my face
And the way your innocence tastes
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me

And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me
And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me

And I think you should know this
You deserve much better than me
And I think you should know this

Unfinished!

Unfinished!
'Gowdy' to his credit never gave up on his dream.. But that's not usually how it goes.
And usually it isn't a speeding bus that keeps the brown pointy weird church from getting built.. Most of the time it's just too difficult, or Expensive, or Scary....
It's only once you've stopped that you realize how hard it is to start again... So you force yourself not to want it. But it's always there... and until you finish it, it will always....... Be there..

UFO Over China Sets Another Mystery

ufo

UFOs have always been a fascination for millions of people all over the world and now, it appears to be a ‘boom time’ for UFOs in China. In the eight such incident since June this year, yet another UFO was spotted over the Baotou airport in China’s Inner Mongolia province, forcing the authorities to shut down operations for more than one hour.

According to Shanxi News Net, it was near midnight on Sept. 22 as Gu and his friend were taking photos of the beautiful moonlight view of the ancient Pingyao City in north China’s Shanxi Province, when Gu noticed a bright spot in his photo. He first thought it was a star, but could not find a star in that position when he carefully looked back up into the sky. Enlarging the photo, Gu found the bright spot was a flat object with two flashlight-like beams behind it.

UFO sightings have increased in China, according to media reports. In a recent sighting, photography student Gu Peiwen closely examined a photo in his camera and shouted in disbelief: “I just caught aliens on camera!”

According to
Shanxi News Net, it was near midnight on Sept.

Excited, both students continued to take more photos, hoping to track the object, invisible to the naked eye. The photos showed that it had lingered for about 40 minutes.

The Pingyao UFO sighting was just the most recent of an array of sightings in China since June.

According to the
Legal Evening News, flights were delayed due to a UFO that was spotted near the Beijing Capital International Airport at around 8 p.m. on Sept. 21.

Four hundred miles northwest of Beijing, several flights arriving at Inner Mongolia’s Baotou Airport were also delayed on the evening of Sept.11 after air control radar detected a UFO, according to an
Inner Mongolia Morning News report.

In August, at least four Chinese cities reported UFO sightings, while between June 30 and July 15 at least nine sightings have been reported across the country, according to Chinese media.

Though UFO spotting is rarely reported in Chinese media due to rigid censorship strictures, the Chinese are by no means strangers to sightings. Shen Kuo (1031–1093), one of the great Chinese ancient scientists from the Song Dynasty (960-1279), recorded seeing a UFO in his Dream Pool Essays (Mengxi Bitan). Wu Youru, a Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) painter vividly depicted a crowd watching a “fire ball” flying eastward in Nanjing City.

While recent UFO sightings have received a lot of publicity, Chinese astronomy researcher Wang Sichao said in fact the number of major sightings this year is just a little higher than average.

Wang, a researcher from the Zijinshan Astronomical Observatory under the aegis of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, made the remarks in an interview with New Tang Dynasty Television.

Having studied UFO sightings for 39 years, Wang said major UFO sightings have occurred the most in years ending with 1, 2 or 7 since the 70’s. He predicted that more significant sightings may occur in 2011 and 2012.

Former UK Ministry of Defense UFO project leader Nick Pope said the existence of aliens is unquestionable. Mr. Pope investigated the UFO phenomenon for 20 years at the Ministry of Defense, handling 200 to 300 UFO sighting reports each year.

“I’m convinced that there’s life out there in the universe, and I’m also convinced that some of that life is intelligent,” Pope said in an interview with The Epoch Times.

“If extraterrestrials were visiting the earth and interacting with humans, then I suppose that what they’re doing would be something similar to what we do,” Pope said. “After all when we study wildlife in the environment, we hide ourselves, we try not to interact with it. Sometimes we tranquilize animals, experiment on them. Sometimes we put a tag on them. So … maybe they’re just studying us.”

Threshold of Tolerance

Isn't it good to learn something new every day?
I wake up every morning with a blank mind so that I may be able to scribble anything over it to learn something each day... and trust me, may day starts with a smile each day. (Touch-wood!)
I learned something new today. The psychology of a person plays such a vital role in conditioning their surroundings! It's so amazing that people who might have so much in common may see the same story in a different perspective altogether.
The more you look at it that way, the more you tend to believe, that there is nothing "WRONG" or "RIGHT" in this world... it's just a matter of how you perceive things. Each person is right in his/her own way whereas it can never be the same for others. The most important inference we get from it is that no person is ever bad or evil. Every one has some values which one follows. Its a matter of time which value gets the better of other in the same frame. What may seem like unethical to someone might be necessity for some other on that moment. No person can ever be wrong! There is a conscience within each of us and its very hard for a person to go against it.
So if you ever think that somebody is an idiot, fool, stupid or a simpleton for that matter... think again! There are bound to be some circumstances for each step someone takes. If that step doesn't appeal to you that simply means that you are not in the same condition as the other is or you are just groomed and conditioned in a different manner with different necessities.
EMOTIONS..... These are the strongest and the weakest virtues a human can ever possess. Interesting! Emotions compel a human to take any big or small step whatsoever, and you know that pretty well... don't you? ANGER is one such emotion. Personally, I love it!! Anger can make me do the most weirdest of things and things which I would have only gazed upon in awe...
Some interesting theories on the "Threshold of tolerance" inspired me so much, I couldn't resist to share. Every person has a limited threshold of tolerance... which depends on person to person. The way our necessities shape up to be are a result of our grooming, conditioning, perception and many other things which a second person won't ever be able to understand fully. So it's not possible to ask somebody to step in somebody else's shoes and see things from their perspective.
Every person is different from other and every person is good enough to be good in their ways. The threshold of tolerance plays a vital role in assuming, presuming, or making a perception about different individuals. A joke might be tolerated from "A" to you whereas you might not tolerate the same joke from an equally known "B". A wife may not speak up for domestic violence for 25 years of marriage but she might get up some day all guns blazing for an issue that shouldn't have provoked her any other day. There are "n" number of reasons for a thing and "n" number of solutions for the same. So anger is something which does not erupt all of a sudden... it is the process of formation of certain layers of resentment over a period of time inside the volcano... And a Volcano cannot remain Dormant forever. Someday or the other it has to erupt. And the frequency of its eruption depends on how high or how low is the Threshold of Tolerance... which again depends on "n" number of factors such as grooming, shaping, necessities, background etc. Complicated!!!
