ONE HALF MEASURE

Everybody must be aware of what one half measure is capable of.....But the problem arises to understand it. Exactly........One Half Measure...This will tell you what it means..

Not many days ago....an NSG commando was in operartion at the Hotel Taj in Mumbai 26/11/08. A black day in the history of Indian Calender. That soldier was fighting to save other's life. He probably thought of their families, their loved ones....just like most of us have. Even he was no exception. He had two small daughters, a wife, old parents; and he was the only one on whom the family depended on their daily bread. Anyways he never lived a very luxurious life..just enough to satisfy their basic needs. coming back again....

The operartion was almost completed. Each individual room was being checked for any person still in the hotel, who could be ensured safety. There was a feeling of pride in him. For the civilians were hailing the commandoes for what they had acheived. They were our real heroes afterall!! Being an INDIAN is a pride for any soldier and when they had just acheived something major......the pride within modifies to something enormous...it can't be explained.

He was the one checking each room, with all sorts of things ruminating in his mind..his children, their happiness on seeing him back again, the bravery certificates, the nation's pride and what not.. There were little rooms to be checked by then. With a sense of relief and a sigh which smelled of acheivements, he opened the door no. 640......and he stepped in...................................................................................................................................

Not much time had passed before this, another important event was about to be held in INDIA........the land of cricket.....The ICC champions trophy...Every team was well prepared and with a new enthusiasm stepped into the tournament; for then there were no shadows of guildstone on anyone then...

The tournament of teams was still in process when a paticular Indian player was a stand-out already in the series. As every Indian wants, our country was doing well....they were one of the strong contenders of the game. And one man was in supreme touch. He was in a form that turned many games on its head.. By far, the most dominant batsman in the series. When somebody is in that kind of touch, he is bound to get calls from the middle east. There was an offer made, an offer irresistable to anyone. Such huge amount of money is rarely seen even by a cricketer in his lifetime; but at the cost of his wicket? at the cost of his country??? The answer was yet to be found...The final frontier was ready for the last game....the main event...The FINAL.

It were the final moments of the match in a crunch situation. "The Batsman" was still in the crease and so was the crowd on its feet. One small mistake could have proved hazardous. What was going in his mind? But since, he was still in his crease.........

Okay, he looked a bit confused in the middle, a bit worried as if he had a decision to make. Well, he would have made it by now. Nobody knew anything except that he was in fine form. Maybe, the crunch situation of the match was showing on his face. But he had been in such situations before. He had the qualities of a leader in him..He was D-best.

With the crowd going restless with each dot ball, the tension was beginning to show on everybody's face. Amidst all that, he stepped out to one delivery and scopped it in air...............................................................................................................

Names, are the gifts of humans to humans....so there is no need of naming a human by a human to the humans....let their names be beneath the cover. The news of a day consisted of two events on two different pages..

One said, a brave martyr's wife who died while fighting against the terrorists...is begging the government for some financial help for her and her childrens' survival; while the Indian as well as the state government are playing the blame games against each shrugging their duties off..

The other said, the most talented cricketer in the Indian team was awarded by the sate government a cheque of Rs. 50 lakhs on becoming the no. 1 batsmen in the ICC rankings by the performance in the Chamions trophy. Although India lost the title, but the player did well to keep up the Indian flag by helping India reach the finals of the tournament. The state government also promised a prize money of Rs. 10 lakhs to the player. Being the Icc player of the tournament and the ICC's best batsmen in the game for about almost an year, the player had already been awarded US $ 500000. The player is happy with his performance and says that he will continue the good work in days to come..........

Both were Indians, their professionalism brught them closer to country's name. But yet, so different a story. If a child is reading this....what will you like to become when you grow up? This is what One Half Measure is all about.

AlL I NeEd Is A RhyThM DiVinE...

HeLlo...Once again...Sorry for such a late publish. ToDay's TopiC Is About MuSic.. My Soul, My Life...and probably yours too..
I Have always believed Music to be a soul raver...To Me Music is something which touches your soul.. your heart, your life.. I'm Not a good appreciator of the metal genre of music.. For me, music should have a calming as well as an enthusiastic effect on you.. not just fucking the throat out of the vocalist just to rock the audience or you may say tearing their eardrums!!

Anyways...I Do Like the Rock Versions and I'm pretty sure that You are into it as well. Every singer is a great talent..Every Genuine singer!! I respect them all. But among them them has always been a favourite....Enrique..Enrique Iglesias..

The best part of his singing has always been his soulful singing. Even though his lyrics and music have been equally good; but a soulful singing can do wonders even if the music and lyrics are ordinary. Every time I hear him, I get a feeling that I can Hear him for the next 500 years and still be listening.
These days, a new musician is acheiving great heights..John mayer. He is the next delight. Recently he won the grammy for his "Say"- a beautiful Song. Soothing Voice is a trade mark of his personality. Sources claim that he is equally polite and down to earth. I have been trying to know more about him

WeLcUm To InDia-1 BilLion PeOple cAnNot Be WronG..

WeLcUm To INDiA- 1 BilLiOn PeoPlE CanNoT bE WrOnG....

This day is a Natinal holiday in the INDIAN Calender. A Sense of pride overfills me whenever i live this day. Its been the 20th time in my life i am able to see this day. I Don't know how many such days i'll be able to witness in my life but its a fact no matter how many such days come and go...a feeling of being an indian will always be there in my heart and will provoke me to do something worth in this lifetime for my country.

Today is the 61st anniversary of our independence. I have been waiting to publish my post on this day. No better day would have done it. But something pinches me within when i think "IS THIS THE ONLY DAY OUT OF 365 ODD DAYS THAT OUR PATRIOTISM ARISES?" On a different day i woudn't have been thinking for my country with the same spirit? WHY? just because this has nothing to do directly with my career? I don't have an answer to it. This is a place where i can puke out all my frustrations.

Unity in Diversity is a perfect example of defining INDIA. It gives shelter to all religions in the world without discrimination. It feeds us and doesn't ask us for our colour. It gives us warmth, pleasure in disguise of rains and chilling winters to comfort ourselves from the long lasting heat. Such variety of wildlife and natural resources are hardly found in any other country.. U will find more than one U.K.,U.S.A. or france or japan....but u'll never find another INDIA. A cultural heritage to be proud of, rich diversity, mythologies, and a country which contributed an extraordinary 30% in the world's economy till the 18th century until it was captivated by the britons who were astonished by its wealth. The history is known by all...i'm not gonna share all that. But look from where has India picked itself up..after 60 years of indepence, it still contributes 9% in the world's economy which only a few countries have been able to achieve and that too under foreign influence. But in india where still 50% of people are uneducated, 33% below poverty line... INDIA is still something extraordinary.

Often through some external sources we come to know about the critisisms for our country. But as the line goes " No country is perfect..it is to be made perfect". The enthusiasm we INDIANS possess to make the things possible is incredible..n its not my statement..its a fact. INDIA has reached the moon and back far back despite all odds. Our epics say prove we had the science and technology at that time when man lived in caves. We know how to prove ourselves in the crowd. We Won't be justa face in the crowd..U'll hear our voice when we shout it out aloud. We have given our soul to you mother..And we will give our lives when you need it. We INDIANS love you.. and our love knows no boundations. We Will Cut That Arms that point at you. We'll Tear those legs who steps on your soul. We Are Your Children And Will ForeVer be...In EvEry LifeTime.. We and our heoes won't give up..

WELCOME TO INDIA.........1 BILLION PEOPLE CANNOT BE WRONG..

Five PoinT "SOME-BUDDIES"

Hii BuDDies,

Iam rejuvenated and all set for my chapter no. 2 in this space...Last night I finished with CHETAN BHAGAT'S bestseller...."five point someone".And I must admit, he is a phenomenal writer...The book doesn't even allow you to wipe your sweat in the climax...Few writter's have this quality..By the way...I m not here to post a review of the book, but to share something about these Five point somebodies.....The feeling i get when i try to analyse it all, is something beyond practicality but when the feeling is so pure, practicality doesn't work anymore.....

A heart like that of Prof Cherian can melt; life can get you away to somewhere even in the middle of nowhere;a life so precious can be given away just coz of a failure; a beautiful heart can win all odds; heart can be your power when mind denies it....There are a lot of things to be learned even from these five pointers... "The Greatest brains of te country are found at the last benches of the college premises"..saying by our honourable Ex-President Mr. A.P.J. Abdul KaLam..

Genius can even go jobless whereas a fatso may get the better of you...Temptations can't easily be resisted..if they would have had, they wouldn't have been named so. The Most Brilliant students of INDIA maybe of the world lead a pathetic mugging life in a period which they dream to be the best phase of their life??? horrible...isn't it? The ups and downs of the college life is a part of us...probably we would be laughing on the moments over which we cried then....and the moments we sat together and smiled, will bring tears in our eyes when we'd think of it in the future...

Many of us are of the opinion that students of weak academis backgrounds are better to be stayed away from....but its a matter of shear chance when these brilliant brains find out their standings in present and compare it to of those so called "WEAK"..ones

If I try to be honest with myself, I stand among these mediocres...But i always felt, there are no weaks and no strongs in any field...its just that academic part is given more attention..Its just the iterests which makes toppers and the floppers...Is it necessary that we have to rescrict our thinking just to the academic aspects? Probably this is the safest way of a secure career..But this way doesn't lead to the making of yet another Sachin Tendulkar,John Mayer, Mother Teresa, and TigerWoods.

The bondage of love is the greatest emotion one can feel in this love...Just Love is a permanent factor in this materialistic world...may sound like i'm just repeating good words..but when you find that its true.....u can do no more than to make others understand the same thing...have you ever thout that once you reach the peak...there is nowhere to go other than just waiting for your turn to fall??? But failures in life get you those chances and keep your hope of climbing to the top alive...like it or not...but a winner is the one who makes it possible leaving aside all odds....The greatness of a winner is judged by the resilliance of the champ...Bogged down by the circumstances, to stand up again and run: tumbling over a stone, falling down, getting up n runing again; struggling against the storm to make it.....That Is a ChamPion ....A true champ....and none other to describe my words...stand...Mr. AbRaHam LinColn.

Its Just about Dreaming The ILLUSION- "The DaWN"

Hi everybody,

A New Day, a new hope and a new dawn. Its the first day of my blog and my first post. This is a feeling i cannot express in words. I wanted to be here so badly where i am free to express myself.
Every single day is a new day but its a matter of how one percieves it to be.
Therefore here i begin my round of initiations leaving all the qualms and regrets down the lane.
Certainly, its not just about living a life, its about making it count. Comfort isn't a thing for me to achieve. I don't like to rest. With every breath i grow older, and my vision becomes narrower. They say WISDOM is achieved with age but i don't want to be wise. I don't want to kill the "ME" in myself...i Have a small place inside me with bigger dreams in there and i won't be able to brush them up with wisdom.
Just wanna see the dawn that always brings some new hopes with it. A dawn that always begins on a promising note and ends either with a satisfaction, detemination or a termination. The point is not discussing about the dusk but the feel of doing the lovable. Living a life, given up, or on the mercy of others is easy; whereas the toughness and the character is shown by a fighter.
If we all are born with a view of living a comfortable life...devoid of fighing the way through and easing ourselves with lazy bones on he pillows of fur, then what for are we here for? Never thought of answering it. just to die one day, ending up all with the dust? for after some odd 60 years ahead when our grandchildren won't be able to spell our name?? with a view to do Something whlle i'm alive, to make myself known among the eyes which have some caged dreams waiting to be unleashed....that's me...i want to exhaust myself in physical and mental pain for i love to do it; it gives me pleasure and happiness..that's my only leisure...I dream a virtual reality which i think of making it real in this lifetime...for i won't get another chance.....neither will you. Dreaming isn't a waste of time......dreams can make you what you are...every dawn comes witha hope of something to cherish about, something new. the choice is entirely yours: either you can carry on with the dizzyness of your previous night or look forward to the dawn of a new era......a new day, a new today and a better future to come....you can expect your dreams to reality for being real, dreams are the only motivation which can help you overcome the greatest odds....the flip side of the cliff always seems to be more beautiful.......fly your way through...
Yours Lovingly,
TazZy,
the illusive lane,
T-city,
A Beautiful World...
